Hi, this is my first time to post in this newsgroup and I need some help on Next so I thought this newsgroup might be appropriate. I have a friend at Vancouver who just bought a Next Color station and is interested in communication with outside (with both Next users and non-Next/ Unix users). Could anyone email to me directly some info as to how to set up such a communication facility on his machine? He told me on the phone that the phone jet that come with the machine cannot fit into both the machine and the wall jet itself!!! Also does he need to register onto some network in order to communicate with Unix based machines like my account?
