Help!
I popped an od in my cube with a backup of my user files and it refuses
to list any of its files either in the workspace or through ls.
I ran fsck on it and this is the output:
lexcube# fsck -P /dev/od0a
(null pointer): WARNING: Using block device with file system mounted read-write!
/dev/od0a: 2338 files, 78009 used, 155057 free (1073 frags, 19248 blocks, 0.5% fragmentation)
Mounted file system set to clean state -- must reboot without sync
lexcube#
This is what ls had to say:
lexcube> cd LexCube_Backup
/LexCube_Backup
lexcube> ls -alg
. unreadable
I am no expert when it comes to this stuff and I have never had this
problem before. The files obviously seem to be there but unix can't
find/read them.
If anybody has a clue on how to recover my stuff, PLEASE send me email.
Thanks,
Terrence Talbot
