Two questions:

1)	Has anyone ported imake (used by X stuff) to the NeXT?

2)	Has anyone considered the possibility of writing NeXT versions
of the most widely used X Intrinsics library calls such that
they then map onto Application kit calls? The aim would be to
ease the migration of applications from X to NeXTStep. X programs
could then be simply (:-|) recompiled but in reality they would be
using the Application Kit. Is this feasible?

hell yes! i've been using it on a large project for 18mths.
i have the source right here. i could place it on the
archives (if anyone really wants me to) but i seem to remember
that the porting effort was small.
