We have this Qualstar tape drive and just purchased a pertec to SCSI adapter to hook it up to the NeXT. What I'm praying for is information from someone else out there that has either done the deed or some adaptation very close. I can handle the hradware part of things, no problem. My problem is that I need the correct software drivers to do the thing. I'll claim my ignorance before hand if there is some standard driver in /dev that will work with little modification. Since I'm so new to both Unix and C, enev if someone out there knows of something close that I could study and adopt to the NeXT environment, I be grateful.
