I am trying to connect my 030 cube to my IBM PS2 50z and have had little luck. I made the cable (DIN 8 -> RS232) that is listed in many places. Here is what I used: Din 8 D25 1 8 2 20 3 3 4 7 5 2 8 7 I then changes the /etc/ttys file so it said: ttya "/etc/getty std.9600" vt100 on and then did a: kill -HUP 1 But nothing happened. When I changed the line to include "/etc/getty D9600" dialup on in would print the login over and over again with the flag on my IBM term program saying Online then Offline over and over again.
