Ftp sites are: cc.purdue.edu, cs.orst.edu, umd5.umd.edu. There are also
some interesting things at sutro.sfsu.edu, sumex.stanford.edu and
winnie.princeton.edu to name a few.

There is also an email server running at cc.purdue.edu. Send mail with the
subject of "help" to "archive-server@cc.purdue.edu" for information on how to
access files from there.

The email archive typically has everything that is available for
ftp on cc.purdue.edu. Because of disk space considerations, I may
make some of the large applications available only on nova.cc.purdue.edu,
so you may occasionally want to take a peek there. Anonymous ftp is
available on nova.cc.purdue.edu, but please be nice to it - it is the
box on my desk that I try to use to get real work done, also.

I finally ordered a Next system today. Now I'm starting to look for software

If you know any ftp sites for Next software, I'd appreciate your posting of
them. Or just mail to me. I'll try to post a summary of any mail in case
anyone else is interested.

Thanks

Howde!

Is there any anonymous ftp sites for NeXT's in which we can grab stuff for
our own? Answer via this group or e-mail dharris@next.csuchico.edu.

Okay. We just got our first NeXT. As soon as I can make a thinwire cable,
I'll chain it off of the RS/6000 and configure it for the net. So, could
some kind soul e-mail me a list of ftp sites with cool NeXT stuff? Thanks
in advance...
