Hi folx, I recently posted a similar message to the corresponding bitnet list NEXT-L, but it seemed to me, that there is no forwarding to this newsgroup, so... I'm searching for ECAD software (schematic capture, PCB layout, PLD design, logic simulation, ...) for the NeXT. The colour slab should be a good platform for this kind of applications. I'm not aware of any products in this area, so if there is any useful info out there in netland (offered products, freeware, experiences, rumours, ...), i'd appreciate hearing from you. The only thing I heard of yet is a public domain CAD package somewhere on the net, which has still to be ported to the NeXT. This is impractical for me, because I'm not a NeXT user yet and my employer asked me to recommend a good ECAD station in the lower price range. I would like to recommend the NeXT, because I like its concept, but without the software ... Do I have to take a Sun or even PC-Clone? My employer tends to the latter! Thanks for any info.
