I am trying to use kermit5A with a Nextstation from home, and am finding an annoying problem when trying to type control-a (move cursor to beginning of line in emacs). If I type a control-a, then I have to type THREE copies of the next character before that character is understood. To get a real control-a, I have to type four control-a's. This occurs in tcsh and in emacs. Has anyone else had a problem like this or know what to fix? Henry

I don't think this is a problem with kermit, I'm using kermit5a(170) right now, logged on to a machine at the university using emacs. C-a works just fine. Richard. P.S. I run OS2.1 if that matters. -- Composing a suitably apt and witty .signature is left | oneill@fornax.UUCP as an exercise for the reader. | oneill@cs.sfu.ca
