[comp.sys.next] Any Graphic Compiling Environment?????

cooldude@leland.Stanford.EDU (Imran Qureshi) (05/13/91)

Hi,

Anyone know of any Graphic compiling environment for the Next
like ThinkC for the Mac, xsaber for the sparcs etc. Something with an
integrated editor, compiler, linker and debugger would be great. Anything
resembling ThinkC4.0 would be awesome. Failing that, is there a graphical
interface to the GNU cc.

I read about BugByte debugger. Can soemone tell me how much it costs and where
one can get it. I guess Next Connection would be the best place.

Also, is there a book for migrating Macintosh Think C+- programmers. I do know
C++ and would like a book that explains how the Next is different from Mac.

Sorry if any are FAQs but I couldn't find an answer in the latest FAQ.

BugByte allows you to do a "Make" from within it by selecting a menu option. It
currently costs $250.00 from Onyx Systems. Give them a call at (817) 432-9107.
(Note that this is a different number than the one in the "Fall 1990" products
guide.) There isn't a real graphical front end to GNU cc.

P.S. Thanks to all those who told me about the fix for my return mail address
in NewsGrazer.
