A friend of mine has installed Xnext (from columbia) on his NextStation running 2.0. Unfortunately when he tries to run the server as anyone but root he is denied authority to use the server. When root runs the server only root can bring up an Xterm. He has tried creating an Xauthority file but does not know how to create the variable "hexkey". If anyone has any ideas or has installed Xnext he'd love to hear from you, either on the news or at pagem@uk.ac.cardiff (Mike Page). Thanks, Ian.
