[comp.sys.next] su and workspace manager

Hi,
	Whenever I su inside a terminal window, the workspace manager does not
realize that and as a result I have to run all applications from the shell.
Is there a way to su in the Workspace Manager.  Also where is this application
located so I can run it from inside the shell.
