[comp.sys.next] NeXTStation Specs

cmedley@wam.umd.edu (Charles Henry Medley) (05/15/91)

I have had a chance to "play" with the NeXTstations on campus once or
twice, and I'm impressed by them, but I don't know much about the specs
on the actual system. Could anyone out there give me some idea of the
speed (i.e., the performance of the 25mhz 68040 vs., say, a Mac ][ci or ][fx)
the video (I'd really like to know the resolution of the color system...),
and any information on expandability. I had heard that the NeXTstations were
designed to not be directly expanded like the "Cube". Any info is greatly
appreciated...

Here's some specs. There for a cube and not a station, but it does have a
comparison to the Mac...

taken from NeXTWORLD March/April 1991 p.27, for more information see the article
( I hope they don't mind its inclusion, I anything it proves they have worthwile
articles. flames -> /dev/null )
