In a few weeks I will receive a set of Macintosh pict images that I would like to convert to encapsulated PostScript for display on the NeXT. I am not familiar with either the Mac or the pict format, but here is what I assume I will be receiving. The Mac files were created with a plotting program, so I assume the pict format supports graphics objects (lines, circles, etc). That is, I don't think I will be getting raster data, but I may be very wrong. I would like to convert these files to EPS (again to a structured graphics format, not to PS images). Can some Mac/NeXT guru set me straight and point me to appropriate source code? (Note: I need to do the conversion on a NeXT and not on a Mac.) Thanks in advance, Tony Richardson amr@egr.duke.edu p.s.: I doubt that this is of general interest, so respond by email please.
