I have a NextStation running 2.1 on the network here. I often telnet to it from a WYSE30 terminal in my office. I, too, have the problem with line feeds being dropped frequently. There are some interesting facets to this problem, though, that have me confused. It only happens using a WYSE terminal (not with TVI). It only happens in the csh. If I switch to sh, the problem goes away. The switch from 2.0 to 2.1 made no difference. The suggestion made in a previous post to do an "stty -extproc" does fix the problem. None of the stty and related man pages even mention extproc, however. Any ideas? Claude Saunders saunders@cs.uoregon.edu
