[comp.sys.next] Modem wont hook up to non unix

  I am having trouble using my modem to dial anything but UNIX
computers.  Here is how I have things set up,

  All this works real well to school and such, but try and get a
local BBS and I get nothing.
  Can anyone see what i'm doing wrong?
  Oh, yes.  The modem is a Practical Peripherials model 9600sa, that
is fully hays compatable and supports V.32/V.42bis.
