Setting the monitor focus is rather easy. Shut down the computer and remove the back cover of the monitor (4 screws, remove cables first!). Now replug the cables and power up. There's practically no danger as the whole unit is enclosed in a metallic case. You need a PLASTIC screwdriver to do the adjusting. There are a number of small holes in the metal cover with symbols and, I think, words next to or under them. I am not sitting in front of an opened moitor, so at the time beeing I can't say which is which. If you don't understand the symobls you'l have to probe a little by turning each screw a little bit. There is practically no danger of destroying anything (at least with the monitors delivered with the slabs) as long as you do small turns. Have someone sit in front of the screen or use a mirror to give you the neccessary feedback. I repositioned the top window in this way, as it was wandering off the left side of the monitor screen. .____________________________________________________________________________. | | | _____ __ _____ Robert Frank | | | / | Institut fuer Informatik | | | | | University of Basel, Switzerland | | | -+- | | | | | | Mittlere Strasse 142 | | __|__ | __|__ CH-4056 Basel | | | | frank@urz.unibas.ch tel. + (061) 321 99 67 fax + (061) 321 99 15 | |____________________________________________________________________________|
