I bought the demo machine from Businessland with my credit card about two weeks ago, however, now I find some trouble to pay off the bill. I rather want to sell my machine and buy a station later. Here is the configuration I have- 8M RAM, Optical Drive, 380M Hard Disk. The machine I bought is like brand new because when I ordered and picked it up they ran out some of the demos, so they gave me a new monitor, keybard, mouse, mother board. So I would say it is like a brand new. It's in perfect condition in original packaging including softwares, documents and has no problems what so ever. I'll have to sell it the price I purchased at $5300; you can forget about the tax I paid but you'll have to pay for the shipping. I love my machine because it is so new but I have to pay off my credit card soon. You can make me an offer with a resonable reson and I'll listen to it. Thanks BWT: I'll be gone for Thanksgiving break, so I'll check my mail tomorrow and when I come back. Please send your email soon. I'll sell it to the first bidder. ==Chris, | _ * Chris W. Hi, Due to money problems (don't all students have them ;-), I have to sell the NeXT that I aquired through the businessland deal that so many including myself had jumped on. It was a cube with the basic configuration(8MB memory, Optical drive) that I added one of the 40MB drives that NeXT had been using for swap space to speed it up. I also turned around the fan so that instead of sucking air through the optical drive, it blows instead. Oh, yeah. The swap drive REALLY speeds things up if you currently don't have a big hard drive. The problems that I had were a bad optical drive (which businessland replaced, no problems since), and just 4 days ago, a bad sector error on the optical disk, which I will fix (or get a new disk). I basically need the $2600 for the basic system, and I don't know how much I'll ask for the 40MB hard drive (probably not much since the guy I bought it from was so nice). I'b also like the buyer to pay shipping. Anyway, make some offers and we'll see what pops up.
