I purchased a set of 1.0 (Preliminary) Tech Docs as part of the May 1990
Developers' Class tuition with the understanding that I would receive the
"final" version in the future. The final version turns out to be 2.0.
However, I remember reading on c.s.n. that all Tech Doc backorders should have
been shipped a couple of weeks ago. Because I am only a few miles from NeXT,
I'm sure my Docs haven't been in transit for a couple of weeks :-)
So am I the only 1.0 Preliminary Tech Docs purchaser who hasn't received the
2.0 Tech Docs, or does a backorder still exist for those of us who purchased
1.0 Preliminary Tech Docs as part of a Developers' Class?

I'm ticked off by all the so-called 'promises' of delivery I keep hearing. I've been waiting for the 2.0 Tech Docs since I placed my order at the bookstore Feb 1st. Now it seems that the CS dept at the university has the grab on the only (four) copies of the new Tech. Docs that have arrived. The bookstore couldn't even find the P.O. for the CS dept because the order was for 1.0 docs ordered a year ago. Why can't NeXT ship all the docs ordered to any given bookstore in one go?
