[comp.sys.next] How to print 8-bit characters more easily than grabbing

I have a program that prints characters in the upper half of the
character set they cannot be redirected to the printer succesfully
because lpr wont accept "binary" files. So what I can do is read them
in in Edit and print from edit (this will produce postscript). This is
not very smooth. Is there a more easy way to do this (like configuring
lpr)?
