Just to add my $0.02 to the current discussion about Lotus Improv delays:

I called NeXT earlier this week and the customer service rep was very
cooperative.  He told me 1) why the delay had taken place and 2) when I
should expect my package (in general, he told me what's going on).

The delays in sending introductory packages including Lotus Improv have
been because NeXT ran out of copies of Improv and Lotus hasn't been able
to supply them.  They ran out about the first week of April.  All NeXT
owners registered April 10 or later are on "backorder" for their pack-
ages.  NeXT is expecting a large shipment of Improv in about a week;
once they get the kits assembled they are planning to ship these back
orders in the order people registered (I registered on April 11, so I
should be among the first of this shipment).

The bottom line is, I expect my package before the end of June.  I hope
I'm not disappointed.
