[net.auto] car wash causing swirls

The swirls can probably be removed with rubbing (not polishing) compund.

Be careful with this as it is abrasive, follow the directions. I like the
Turtle Wax. Be sure to put a coat of wax down afterwards.

In the future try a car wask that advertises no brushes. What they do is they
have chamois cloth which moves back and forth with a gentle slapping action
to get off the dirt. One thig though, be sure that you antenna is down.

I once went through with a van that had large mirrors on a long thin arm.
The clothis is in strips abput two inches wide and it caught around the
arm and ripped off the mirror. To makes matters worse, the mirror, now
flapping bach and forth took several nice chunks of paint off and put in
a few good dents.

The car wash did pay for the damage however. If you'll notice the signs
all say "not responsible for damage to not factory equipment", or something
along those lines.

All in all though the brushless car washes are a big improvement. Better yet, although a bit more work is the one that has the high pressure hoses.
