The patched version of Screensaver2.1 has been placed on the archives nova.cc.purdue.edu and cs.orst.edu. The demo will now work even if Screensaver is installed outside the users home directory. Please note that you still must choose a valid screensaver file to demo before the demo button will become active. Send any bug reports or suggestions to dnp@athena.mit.edu, you can expect a prompt reply and new bug reports and good suggestions earn FREE registrations! Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions: Q: Is there documentation of how to use Screensaver. A: Yes, it's in the info panel. Perhaps this was a lousey place to put it and I will send it as a README file to anyone who askes. Q: Can I get a site license? A: Yes, and at a substantial discount. We don't know how well it will work on server systems, but are very interested in finding out. We will modify if need be. Q: Will the demo work without a valid registration number? A: Yes, hopefully.
