With 2.x Services that operate on a selection in a document, the selection is lost when data are returned from the service provider. Shouldn't services client keep the selection on the text/data that are returned from the service provider? Edit, and Mail(send window), for example, deselect the block after returned data replace the original selection. First, it takes efforts to specify a selection while deselection is easy: just a click anywhere in the text. When a user wants to process a selected block of text by requesting a number of services in sequence, it would be far easier for the user if the selection is not lost. Second, most other operations on selected text, e.g., changing font, keeps the selection after operation. For the sake of interface consistency, the selection should be maintained for data returned from services provider. If there's any reason for the current behavior, please enlighten me.
