Can someone please email or post a list of all currently available books for the NeXT, as well as the authors, publishers, list price, or whatever else is needed.. I found a bookstore here in Exeter that is willing to order whatever I want, which is unusual! BTW, K&R's C book is #27 over here, about $45 US...eek. At those prices, I'd say it's not unusual at all.
Just for compaison, we have a local
bookstore chain which has "Happy Hour" on Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to
7:00 p.m. during which all books get 25% off. I usually order my
computer books and pick them up the first Friday after they come in,
to receive the 25% discount.
Since postal rates for books are extremely low (at least in The States,
you should get someone to order your books for you and mail them
to you.
By the way, the second edition of K&R is out now.
