[comp.sys.next] Improv on floppy disks

cdl@chiton.ucsd.edu (Carl Lowenstein) (06/28/91)

NeXT finally came through with my Improv kit, from buying an 040
upgrade board last December. (board arrived in mid-March)

And yes, I have NeXTStep 2.[01] also.

So now what do I do with 3 1.44MB floppies? I can read them on a Sun
IPC (dd if=/dev/rfd0c of=/usr/tmp/disk1 bs=9k). I can transfer this
stuff by Kermit to my NeXT cube, or even by ethernet if I want to
transport the whole thing 12 miles each way.

If there have been wise words about what to do after this, I missed them.
