I am trying to set up a .bindings file (as described in the .csh man page) to allow me to edit the command line in a terminal window with the arrow keys. According to the man page, the syntax should be, e.g. bind-to-key ForwardChar "key" Does anyone know what to substitute for key in the above line to make the right-arrow key (and the other arrow keys) work? erik sowa (sowa@amdew.llnl.gov)

It is easier to install and use tcsh. Both the arrow keys and emacs-like (or vi-like) motion through the past is enabled. Plus all the other features of tcsh, too many to enumerate (see the man-page). Greetings, Hardy -------****------- Meinhard E.
