[comp.sys.next] NeXTWorld & NeXT User's Journal

pfkeb@kaon.SLAC.Stanford.EDU (Paul Kunz) (06/29/91)

NeXTWorld is certainly alive and will be coming out with the next
addition. I've seen one of the articles that will be in it. It's
about me and my work. Unlike Ron Weissman, I did ask to review and
read what was to be printed after being interviewed by Dan Ruby the
new chief editor of NeXTWorld. It needed a few corrections here and
there for technical accuracy, but otherwise it's Dan's report. In fact,
I was highly pleased at how well Dan translated our highly technical
chat into terms that I think most people will be able to understand.
I also have heard that a mug shot of me will accompany the article.
This picture will be the work of a few hours of a professional photographer
sent by NeXTWorld for the job. And I'm the type that can't say ``cheese''
properly for family photo so let's hope I don't look to silly. Don't
blame NeXTWorld or the photograher is this picture doesn't turn out right.
Who am I? I'm the Paul Kunz that was spelled Paul Coonts in the NUJ
interview with Ron Weissman. I can't blame the interviewer on the mis-
spelling too much; 9 of 10 people get the spelling of my four letter
name wrong. ``Coonts'', however, is a variation I haven't see before.
But this was taken from tape, and NUJ is completely volonteer newsletter.
If you heard the name ``kunz'' on a tape, how would you spell it? I for
one don't know how to spell names, so I can't complain (too much) when
my name comes out wrong.

P.s.
