Has anyone out there found a place in the 2.0 documentation where it describes how to build your own shared library? If not has anyone built their own? Is it done the same way that other boxes, e.g. Sun, does it? I'd appreciate any help I could get on this one. Reply via e-mail and I'll post a summary if appropriate. Also, I recently noticed that periodically my serial ports "freeze up" for some unknown reason and that I can not uucp out or dial in from another site. I'll go for a month at a time, never touching anything and whammo, my news and mail feeds aren't happening and I'm dead. I've tried everything that I can think of, but the only thing that seems to clear this up is to reboot the machine. Has anyone seen this behaviour? It didn't seem to happen under 1.0. -- --

You did not say whether your OS is 2.0 or 2.1; serial port behavior onder 2.0 was, to say the leeast, unpredictable. Greetings, Hardy -------****------- Meinhard E.
