Once you have downloaded the file, cd to the "root" directory of your disk, log on as root, and extract the archive. It will extract into "/tmp". Type: "sh /tmp/install" to install the software. I tried to install akcs.x386.tar on my system after uucp'ing from ddsw1
this morning and there was no akcs binary.
