I have an '86 Porsche 944Turbo that is equipped with power locks. Recently I've noticed them exhibiting some rather strange behavior. Sometimes, after locking my car doors, after a random period of time elapses, THEY SPONTANEOUSLY unlock themselves. This doesn't happen all the time; perhaps only 5% of the times I lock my doors. I plan to have my dealer look into this since it can be very disturbing. I hope they don't shrug their shoulders and tell me there's nothing wrong just because they can't reproduce the problem easily. Although I do have a Clifford 3 alarm system, I have not bought the feature that allows one to unlock the doors via the alarm control, so the problem is not caused by "funny" radio signals. Furthermore, the problem has occurred at home, work, the grocery store, etc., so it is not caused by any neighborhood prankster. Sometimes I've seen the locks unlock themselves as soon as I've locked the doors and have to lock them five or six times before they finally stay put. Are there any other 944/944T owners out there that have this same problem? -- Don Aoki ("The Oak") ORACLE Corporation (415)598-8077 Belmont, California hplabs!oracle!aoki
