A user in our school of nursing has an Amiga 2000 with autoboot software and also has the 8088 janus board installed. Someone went to install kermit the other day on it on the 8088 msdos side of things and that worked and rebooted and all these good things. Today when they fire up the janus board from the amigados workbench menu, one gets an error something like: CAN'T FIND PC BOOT FILE I found a file that points to something like dh0:HDBOOT from the PCDOS/System directory, but the dh0: file is not there, and I am not sure which file this has to be from the installation disks. I don't necessarily want to break things worse by reinstalling the whole thing at this point. Can anyone mail me any pointers to this? From all I can tell, it's just a missing file problem because one can boot off the floppy drive and have messydos working well. Now if only they'd asked me for an amiga-side version of kermit.... -- Internet:dave@uwm.edu, Uucp:uwm!dave, Bitnet:dave%uwm.edu@INTERBIT AT&T:414-229-5133 USnail:Dave Rasmussen-CSD,Box 413 EMS380,Milwaukee,WI 53201
