Thanks for the responses I got about the cursor-key problem. However, it would appear that the procedure enable-arrow-keys is not supported by our local Emacs version. Is there anyone else out there with this problem? PLEASE respond if you know how, because I CANNOT stand EDT, even in screen mode!
