We'd like to find an internet-connected source for a VMS-style backup save-set distribution of VMS emacs. Can someone out there drop me a quick note directing me to one? The story is that we have the Unix distribution installed on numerous machines here, but the only reasonable means we have to get it to our VMS systems is Wollengong's TCP/IP mechanism, which plays oblique games with file names in order to map them from unix to VMS. On top of the changes that need to be made to adapt the Unix distribution for VMS, this makes the job too complicated. I'll follow traffic on the group for the answer, though i'd prefer that followups are directed to me so i can summarize.
