Hello. We're looking for an inexpensive car for the 6-mile commute to the nearest train station. A couple people on our block are selling (obviously) used Ford Fiestas; we're interested but somewhat wary of buying an "orphan". I would appreciate information from present and previous Fiesta owners. What is it like getting parts for them these days? Are there any endemic problems we should know about? Any areas prone to rusting that we should check for weakness or signs of repair? Anything else we should know - e.g., model years that were particularly good/bad?
