wheaties:/usr/gnubin/make croaks on the following file
("make: target file `Makefile' has both : and :: entries. Stop.")
but /bin/make does not. The Makefile is from X11's `xphoon.'
The relevant file can be found in wheaties:/wh/mly/xphoon/Makefile
