This is not really a bug report, but rather a warning. If I'm wrong to post it here, apologies in advance. I just thought I'd save a few people some frustration. Processing a texinfo file with TeX and texindex produces a file suffixed ".cps". If you use Sun's make program, beware that it assumes ".cps" files contain C/PostScript interface routines (for use with NeWS). Sun make may decide to run "cps" on the file, and clobber source code. I roasted my copy of "tar.c" when Sun's make decided to remanufacture it from "tar.cps". Be careful! -- Frank uunet!s5!frank -or- frank@morgan.com "Computers are mistake amplifiers."
