I wouldn't call this a bug, just a configuration difference. I'm compiling GNU diff 1.7 (from osu-cis "source as of 17 May") on my AT&T 3B2 V.3.1. I made the appropriate System V mods to the Makefile. When compiling 'diff3.c' the compiler declared F_DUPFD was undefined. On the 3B2, F_DUPFD is defined in <fcntl.h>. I added an include of this file after the first #ifdef USG in 'diff3.c' and everyone's happy.
