Hi,
Currently, I'm embarking on getting the full sweet of gnu tools (gcc,
g++, etc.) up and running on 386 Unix (Unix System V release 3.0 for the
386). It's taking some time but its becoming more successful. I'm trying to
keep a list of "real" problems I'm having and not just 'I didn't read
the ....', etc.
I'm having a problem this time with strip. Sometimes when stripping
the executable it overwrites the header and the file is no longer executable.
I'm using COFF encapsulation. Has anyone else experienced this? The source
I have was gotten off of prep.ai.mit.edu about 1.5 weeks ago. Thanks.
