[gnu.gdb.bug] bug in gdb 3.0 - pathnames may not start with ~

rfg@MCC.COM (Ron Guilmette) (01/10/89)

when using a gdb command such as "directory", you cannot specify
the pathname with a leading tilde (indicating your home directory).
Actually. you can start your pathname with the tilde character,
but it is not interpreted as it would be by C-shell.

This is a minor thing, but it would ne nice to have.
