[gnu.gdb.bug] truncated file

bob@cis.ohio-state.edu (Bob Sutterfield) (02/06/89)

ronald%cvms@csuchico.edu points out:
The files in /u/public/gdb appear to have been truncated before
they were split. Nonetheless, cat gdb3.1-a? | zcat >gdb.tar
completes without error; however, tar xvf gdb.tar gives a checksum
error after dist-gdb/m-sun2.h and files appear to be missing.

Indeed so - when I FTPd gdb.tar-3.1.Z from prep.ai.mit.edu I didn't
check closely enough that I had gotten the whole thing. I'm re-FTPing
it right now, and it should be complete on osu-cis by the end of the
day (I just removed the bogus gdb3.1-af, and will add -a[fgh] when it
all arrives). If you have already gotten gdb3.1-a[abcde] they should
be OK, and you'll only need to get a new -[fgh] tonight.

Thanks for pointing it out, and sorry for the inconvenience.
