Please DON'T post your bug reports on the gnu.* newsgroups! Mail them to bug-gnu-*@prep instead! At first sight, it seems to make no difference: anything sent to one will be propagated to the other; but if you post on the newsgroup, the information about how to reach you is lost in the message that goes on the mailing list. It can be very important for me to know how to reach you if there is anything in the bug report that I don't understand. [Original message from rms to info-gcc. Applies here also. ] -- Randy
