I'd like to know if anybody has taken a crack at getting gdb running on a Sun 386i. The problem is (at least the first that I see) that the 386i uses coff format for everything except dbx info, which will require putting the dbx stab code into coffread.c I have started to do this, but it seems like it may be a REAL pain. Beyond that there appear to be working ports to other 386 type boxes so it souldn't be too much bother. What I'm really interested in is 1) Has anybody already solved my problems by porting gcc to the Sun 386i? 2) If not (1), has anyone tried it, and if so, what experience did you have. 3) If not (2), any suggestions or words of wisdom? Thanks Muchly, Bill Carlson wwc@boole.ece.wisc.edu wwc%boole.ece.wisc.edu@cs.wisc.edu
