[gnu.gdb.bug] gdb doesn't like g++

joerg.winckler@sun1.ruf.uni-freiburg.dbp.de (09/21/89)

I'm working with gdb 3.1 and the g++-compiler version 1.35.
When I want to set breakpoints in a program I often receive
the following message:

(gdb) br projection.C:215
Invalid symbol data: unrecognized type-code `#' at symtab pos 30.
(gdb)

It seems that the two programs (gdb and g++) don't fit.
Has anyone a patch for gdb or g++ to send to me ???

Thank you in advance,
                           Joerg Winckler
