-> Both of these problems occur with sun4os4, no changes to gdb or Makefile.
-> Compiled with gcc -g.

-> The first occurs with g++ compiled file. I'm including a uuencoded
-> copy of it at the end.

-> The second occurred when I tried to use gdb to find the second problem.

-> Script started on Wed Nov  8 21:07:21 1989
-> -docboy- gdb viewer.o
-> Reading symbol data from /users/cs/staff/jeff1/src/iv/imag/viewer.o...done.
-> (gdb) l Viewer::Viewer
-> Reading in symbols for viewer.cc...Invalid symbol data: invalid character \075 at symbol pos 125.
-> (gdb) quit
-> -docboy- gdb gdb
-> Reading symbol data from /usr/local/bin/gdb...done.
-> (gdb) l read_number
-> Reading in symbols for dbxread.c... and main.c... and blockframe.c...done.
-> Bus error (core dumped)

The second problem goes away when gdb is compiled with sun's cc.

With that, I managed to track the problem down to the stab entry for
the constructor of the Graphic class in InterViews...
