The 3.0 version of infrun.c talks about a bug in sh that can hit when you have a large environment. The suggested workaround is to kill some environment variables using "unset env". Right at the moment I have to reduce my environment to a couple hundred bytes in order to avoid this problem. I think that's a bit silly, so I would prefer to hack sh, either to fix the bug, or to at least allow a larger environment before triggering the bug. Could someone please either explain the bug to me or point me at the code to look at? I've got 4.3-Tahoe sources. thanks, Mike Kupfer kupfer@orc.olivetti.com 415-496-6238 {decwrl!oli-stl, ames!oli-stl, oliveb}!orc!kupfer ucbvax!kupfer
