[gnu.gdb.bug] getting gdb up on Sun & Masscomp

williams@cs.umass.edu (01/03/90)

Can anyone tell me what changes have to be made to build gdb on Suns?
The problem is in core.c, c_fpustatus is unknown.

On the Masscomp, there were lots of unfound files and things. Has anyone
gotten gdb running on this machine? If so, what did you have to do and
which configuration did you use?

Thanks!
Leo

On the Suns, make sure you have selected the proper configuration.
(i.e., sun3os3, sun3os4, etc.). I had this same problem and a careful
inspection of my mistaken configuration was the solution. In my case, I
was installing gdb on an sun3os3 system which I thought was a sun3os4
system. This produced the same results as you describe.

Hope this helps.
