There is much to be said about cheating at Rogue. Unfortunately it is all in the form of nasty and unprintable insults. Let it suffice to say that anyone who can spend hour upon hour trying to crack security on Rogue, but who lacks the patience (, coolness, whatever) to win legitimately, must have a severe personality disorder. Anyone who does this and then publishes the results, sucks eggs. This means you, ucbarpa!reeds, whoever you are. I am pretty flamed-on at the cheapening of total wins everywhere caused by this diseased Rascal program. Charles Poirier aka Champignon Charlie, three-time rogue 5.2 winner

I can't get too upset with any choice for posting scores, but I would mildly prefer to have the top ten adventurers list include scores for games played within the rules as intended. Scores obtained by using magic arrows, or by exploiting other bugs, really don't seem to me to be directly comparable to scores obtained "normally".
