[gnu.g++.bug] GNU C++ 1.33.0 test release

mdt@YAHI.STANFORD.EDU (Michael Tiemann) (02/21/89)

I have placed g++.tar-1.33.0.Z on yahi.stanford.edu (36.83.0.92) in
~ftp/pub. Anonymous ftp is supported. It has compiled oops and libg++,
with tests failing only (to my knowledge) in sparc-dependent ways
(alignment problems in a few files, and accidental machine
dependencies in another few files). If you can, please test this
compiler on any code you would like to have running in the 1.33.0
release.

Unless major changes are needed for GNU CC 1.34, GNU C++ 1.33.0 and
1.34.0 can be the same release, since (for the first time) the GNU
C++/GNU CC interface has not changed.

If you find bugs, and choose to let me fix them, please don't post
large files to bug-g++. Rather, tar up the sources I will need to
reproduce the bugs, and place them in the ftp/pub directory, and send
me mail about what I need to do to reproduce the problem (including
telling me which tar file belongs to you).

Thanks,

Michael
