tiemann@YAHI.STANFORD.EDU (Michael Tiemann) (04/05/89)
Yesterday I posted a message to prep.ai.mit.edu that GNU C++ 1.34.2 and GDB+ 3.1.2 were available from yahi.stanford.edu and labrea.stanford.edu by anonymous ftp (~ftp/pub on yahi, ~ftp/pub/gnu on labrea) in the form of compressed tar files. Unfortunately, there were problems with the release: collect.c had been accidently truncated by someone just before I made the tar file, and there were some minor configuration glitches, each of which took a 1 line patch. I had sent these patches to the mailing list at prep, which right now is functioning like a black hole. I have fixed these problems, remade the tar and diff files, and everything should now be ok. If you got 1.34.2, you need to get it again, even if you got it as early as this morning. Sorry about this confusion. There has been no change to the GDB 3.1.2 files, but I don't think my message of the release made it to that newsgroup, either. From now on I'll send messages to the gnu groups at wheaties. Michael
