Teleport to rings: point them at a monster across the room and zap! The monster is now next to you. Teleport away rings: point them at a monster next to you and zap! The monster will be teleported a few spaces away. -Glenn

The questions and answers are:
Q: Can you use a staff of striking at a distance?
A: Apparently, no.
Q: How do you use Teleport to and away wands ?
A: Point at the target monster, and they work!
Q: What use is a ring of adornment?
A: None while you haven't won the game. I've heard that you get points
for them at the end of the game, but since I haven't won yet, I'm
not sure that is what happens.

As far as I can tell, in 3.7 allowing oneself to become hungry or weak does not lessen ones fighting power. As long as you do not faint you're OK. Blank paper scroll is a no effect scroll and does nothing. Jishnu Mukerji BTL Holmdel 1B-425 harpo!hocsd!jis

On the 3.6 version of rogue "Blank" scolls are blank and have no effects on you. Playing aroung when you are weak (again on version 3.6) has no effect on you strength. I am still learning about the 5.2 version. Mike Laman System Roguer
